  2. I feel so flattered and thankful all at once for my artwork being shared by others on pinterest.  The above photo is part of my natural dye series where I have been collecting dye plants through out the Chicago cityscape and using them in my artwork, as well as introducing this material into my art therapy practice.

You all can find some of my pins under: stephanylatham.com, asuncame.tumblr.com, and stephany latham.

A special shout out to Loias Lee for making my work feel special.  Check out her pins and exquisite taste here.

All growth is a leap in the dark, a spontaneous unpremeditated act without the benefit of experience. - Henry Miller

I was finally able to photograph this piece in its natural habitat. It feels good to be back at panama rocks. Once stood a safe place for glaciers to inhabit. I love you old growth.  Cheers to another summer with you.

  4. For those of you who don’t know India Flint, she is an amazing fiber artist and an accomplished author of books dedicated to spreading knowledge of plant dyes, natural color, and sustainable practices involving harvesting fiberous material.  Also, her art work is just as incredible as her passion for natural materials, and most of time you can wear her designs.

Know it, love it.  Thank you for reading.
